BoyzToys Promote Deicing Salt As Colder Weather Is Predicted For February

Long range forecasts for the UK have predicted colder temperatures and nationwide snowfall for February, leading to wholesaler BoyzToys warning retailers to stock up on deicing salt.

Weather in the UK has been predicted to take a much colder turn in February. As reported by ukweatherforecast.co.uk, the jet stream is currently positioned directly over the UK, bringing warmer, wetter weather. In February, blocking is expected to have an effect on the jet stream, resulting in colder weather fronts from Europe hitting the UK.

Blocking is caused by high levels of Arctic sea ice melting in the Arctic summer, slowing the polar jet stream, preventing it from moving weather fronts on from the UK. As a result, in February temperatures are set to drop, causing ice to form on roads and widespread snowfall, which will have an effect on roads and paths.

BoyzToys is encouraging retailers to purchase more deicing products now, meaning they can offer them to customers next month when they will need them most. A Customer Service Liaison for the company explained, "with the weather in the UK about to take a turn for the worst, it's important for retailers to be prepared with goods that their customers will need. We're promoting our white deicing salt, snow shovels and ice scrapers now because retailers won't be able to provide to their customers in their time of need if they don't have their goods early."

Being prepared for bad weather is something the UK has learned to do through several winters of continuous extreme weather. By purchasing deicing salt now, retailers can ensure they're prepared for any adverse weather conditions that may occur in February, and help their customers cope with the bad weather.

BoyzToys is a wholesaler based in the UK. They have a wide range of goods, all of which are available on their website for retailers to purchase. They're encouraging retailers to prepare for the forecasted bad weather, as many people will think they've avoided another extreme winter this year, when in fact it has only been delayed.
