Arcplan's BI Challenge Rewards College Students for Innovative Business Intelligence Projects
BI software provider arcplan is holding a global competition to find innovative analysis and planning solutions created with arcplan Enterprise 8
Online, February 5, 2014 (Newswire.com) - The arc|ademy BI Challenge will be held for the third time in 2014, but this is the first time the contest is open to university students around the world. College-level computer sciences and economics students can participate in arcplan's competition between March 1 and October 31, 2014. Students are invited to address real business problems with an application built on the BI platform arcplan 8. Applications can include innovative management cockpits, web-based and mobile analyses and reports, balanced scorecards or other kinds of analysis and planning solutions.
The creativity of the participants is not subject to any limits. There is only one condition: the projects must be completed within the scope of university work or practical activities that accompany the course of study (internships, etc.). A jury of renowned market analysts, media representatives and BI experts will award prizes in three categories: Innovation, Fast Mover and Business Excellence, and the winners can look forward to sharing a total prize fund of 15,000 euros ($20,000 USD).
