Archos Launch Archos 9 Tablet PC

Online, August 17, 2010 (Newswire.com) - French Company Archos have been making some interesting devices now this time with Archos 9 Tablet PC.

The Archos 9 tablet PC is their latest creation, offering a 9 inch resistive touch screen and a new direction; instead of concentrating on their usual multimedia output, Archos have entered the world of the tablet PC, which comes complete with Windows 7 Home Starter.

Available for less than £450 for the 60GB version, the Archos is also available as a 160GB version from around £500. Both models feature an Intel Atom Z515 processor, Bluetooth, WI-Fi and a DVB-T antenna which will enable you to tune in to free view.

We managed to get our mitts on one of the 9″ tablets to see if the French makers had managed to design something worthy of the country that gave us Matisse, Debussy and Zidane, or if we should instead refer to the likes of Inspector Clouseau and Obelix.
