ABOUT HUMAN TRAFFICKING:

Human trafficking is one of the worst human rights issues taking place worldwide today. Trafficking is the abuse of an individual in the form of labor or sexual exploitation. While it is more commonly publicized in other parts of the world, such as Cambodia, the FBI estimates that there are more than 100,00 American girls being trafficked worldwide. Our salon will bring together experts, advocates and concerned citizens to discuss how this issue directly affects Americans as it occurs on our soil and in our own backyards, as well as the legislation that needs to take place in order to stop this travesty.
