All-New Series 'Crowded House' Brings Comedy to HGTV
HGTV's new reality series Crowded House brings a fresh take on the classic home-buying show format that has audiences everywhere glued to their televisions. Viewers who like House Hunters, will love Crowded House.
February 23, 2014 (Newswire.com) - Every episode of Crowded House begins with a surprise, as unsuspecting buyers are ambushed by 20 perfect strangers only to find out that the ragtag group will be joining them on their search for a new home. Crowded House takes viewers behind the scenes as buyers attempt to navigate the already difficult process of buying a home while fielding the many different opinions that come flying from our Gallery of strangers. As buyers try to focus on learning the ins and outs of each of the three properties, comedy and drama unfold among members of the Gallery who rarely agree on just what is "in" and what is "out." Just imagine 20 people all trying to assess the quality of the finishes in a recently remodeled bathroom: they say three's a crowd, but 20 is simply hilarious.
The Gallery is made up of people from all walks of life, from knowledgeable experts in real estate and veteran DIYers to novice renters and home-buying enthusiasts. But they all have two things in common: a big personality and a strong opinion about everything!
Viewers watch our buyers mentally logging what they like and dislike about each property as they step over Gallery members crawling along the floor to make sure the power outlets are wired correctly and brace themselves for the next person that pops up in the window with bad news about the plumbing.
But for all the chaos, Crowded House creates a unique experience for viewers and inexperienced buyers alike who get a chance to hear about potential pitfalls and unforeseen upsides to buying that they might have otherwise overlooked. The Gallery might be a lot to handle, but it is also a great source of helpful information. One thing is certain: Crowded House buyers make very informed decisions!
Crowded House premieres on HGTV Thursday, Feb. 27 at 11pm and re-airs Sunday, March 2 at 5pm.
