Smack Sportswear Locks Up Exclusive Apparel Deal With Ohio Valley Region

Smack to outfit one of the largest regional volleyball associations in the country

Smack Sportswear (OTC: Smak), the leading brand of custom-designed volleyball apparel for both indoor and beach volleyball players alike, today announced a partnership with the Ohio Valley Region (OVR) Inc. as their official beach volleyball apparel supplier.

Smack will not only be the official beach volleyball apparel of the OVR, creating custom-designed team attire to be worn throughout the 2013 Sand Volleyball Series, but will also provide event prizing, retail support at beach tournaments and coordinate appearances by Smack pro athletes at key events.

Additionally, the partnership will include co-promotional endeavors. In part, Smack will offer bulk discounts to all OVR club directors, allowing directors the ability to provide quality Smack apparel at a savings to their 20,000 active members. The partners will also promote each other on web-sites, in literature and on-site at events.

About the Ohio Valley Region, Inc.
The Ohio Valley Region (OVR), Inc. is one of the largest of the 40 regional volleyball associations (RVAs) of USA Volleyball (USAV). The OVR is a nonprofit corporation, whose main purpose as an amateur athletic sports association is to promote and establish quality volleyball through participation by both adults and juniors, according to the standards set forth by USA Volleyball and the Amateur Sports Act of 1978. The OVR provides opportunities for our members to participate at local, regional, zonal, and national competitions. Our large and active membership (19.051 for the 2012 season) grants us the flexibility to offer exceptional opportunities such as holding both Adult and Junior Regional Championships in a metropolitan convention center. We also sponsor High Performance teams for elite juniors and coaches who wish to excel and to challenge their abilities at a highly competitive level of play.
