Siba Honors Service Members and First Responders

Siba Extends Military Veterans Benefits to Police, Fire Fighters, and Other EMS Personnel

Stevens – The Institute of Business and Arts (Siba) has extended its benefits for military veterans and their dependents to First Responders and their dependents. Siba recognizes and appreciates the sacrifice emergency personnel make each day for our continued safety and well-being. As such, police officers, fire fighters, EMS workers, and their dependents (spouses, children and step-children) will join military veterans and enjoy the following benefits: (1) waiver of the application fee, and (2) waiver of all textbook rental and campus technology fees. The $245.00 per quarter credit hour tuition will cover the use of all textbooks, supplementary materials, and campus technology and equipment (computers, printers, copiers, etc.). There are NO additional fees (e.g. lab fees, library fees, activity fees, graduation fees) whatsoever.

To further show our support for these brave men and women, Siba is a proud sponsor of the 2015 Jack Buck/Gateway PVA Golf Tournament.  Each year, the event benefits Paralyzed Veterans of America, an organization that advocates for the health care, research, benefits, and civil rights of veterans suffering from spinal cord injuries. This year’s event is being held Tuesday, September 15, at Landings at Spirit Golf Club in Chesterfield, MO.
