Review Rankings of over 400 Nursing Schools in the Western United States
San Diego, CA, March 2, 2015 (Newswire.com) - Nurse Journal has just released its rankings for the best nursing schools in the West. California State University-Dominguez Hills School of Nursing takes the gold with an overall score of 112.33, which includes 25 points for convenience—the highest score possible in that category. Second place (silver) goes to the University of Utah College of Nursing at with 106.98 points, and third place (bronze)goes to the University of Alaska Anchorage School of Nursing with 101.50 points.
Beth Parker, Special Projects Coordinator at Nurse Journal and some community staff members, evaluated over 400 schools in five categories to determine the rankings. There were 130 points possible: 30 for quality, 35 for affordability, 25 for convenience, 20 for satisfaction, and 20 for value.
