Continue to Give, a mobile giving platform headquartered in Schofield, WI, is looking to be the new favorite of the crowdfunding world. Continue to Give not only offers more technology, tools and services to crowdfunders, but also offers them at a significantly lower cost than sites like GoFundMe.

Continue to Give was founded in 2010 by Jesse Wellhoefer, who had the idea while on a mission trip in Africa. “I was looking for support to be able to continue the mission and I needed a way for people to donate, along with a way for me to keep them updated on the progress of their donations,” says Wellhoefer, “I couldn’t find a solution, so I built it.”

A computer programmer by profession, Wellhoefer spent the next 4 years perfecting the platform and generating support for the company. Continue to Give now offers a wide array of services, including: online giving, mobile donation programs, text-to-give and a mobile kiosk application. Wellheofer’s goal is to make all of this technology affordable for each individual who uses it.

Continue to Give offers a distinct advantage over competitor “crowdfunding” sites. Its strong ties to its roots in the mission field have led to a socially minded company that aims to keep expenses low for users. While platforms like Go Fund Me charge fees of up to 7.9% + $0.30 per donation, Continue to Give charges just 3.9% + $0.60.

Abigail Schulz, one of the original employees of Continue to Give, had this to say about their fees, “Our ultimate goal is to help people that have the means to give, help people that need financial support. I’ve seen large GoFundMe campaigns raise thousands of dollars and in turn, pay thousands of dollars in fees. Continue to Give could prevent most of those fees and offer givers the same, if not better, fundraising solutions”.

Continue to Give plans to keep fees lower then GoFundMe so that individuals can keep more of the money they raise and pay less in fees. For some fundraisers this may mean thousands of extra dollars. Continue to Give also plans to more forward with their founders vision to keep developing more advanced technology to help with crowdfunding efforts. Continue to Give has already implemented mobile, kiosk, facebook, and online giving for all crowdfunding accounts making crowdfunding easy for all that need it.
