Les Mis to Celebrate 30th Anniversary at the Queens Theatre

The award winning blockbuster London show, Les Miserables is running with packed houses at the magnificent Queens Theatre. On 8th October 2015, the blockbuster show is all set to make its grand entry into the glorious 30th year. To celebrate this occasion and make the 30th anniversary memorable, limited edition post cards have been produced.

The limited number of Les Miserables’ post cards will feature the star cast of the show which includes Carrie Hope Fletcher, Peter Lockyer and David Thaxton. The availability of the postcards will be on the first come first served basis from April 20, Monday. The offer is available for anyone who books a ticket via the box office at the Queen’s Theatre.

Under the superb adaptation and direction of Trevor Nunn and John Caird, this is the first English production. The spectacular production of Cameron Mackintosh has already created a stir at the box office and still ruling hearts of theatre lovers.

On 8th October 1985, Les Miserables made its remarkable opening at the Barbican Arts Centre, London. The original star cast includes Colm Wilkinson (Jean Valjean), Roger Allam (Javert), Patti LuPone (Fantine), Frances Ruffelle (Éponine) and Michael Ball (Marius). The wonderful show has always been a delight to watch out for.

Some of the major highlights of the show are its memorable numbers such as ‘I Dreamed a Dream’, ‘On My Own’ and ‘Bring Him Home by Alain Boublil and penned by Claude Michel Schonberg. The three hours long show is a completely memorable experience for the theatre lovers. The show is recommended for 7+ kids as its lengthy and also the subject matter.
