Gurgaon, India, March 24, 2015 (Newswire.com) - JK Business School (JKBS) today organised a lecture in memory of its founder, Chairman, Shri Goviond Hari Singhania of the JK Group. The lecture was delivered at JKBS Campus in Gurgaon by Maj. Gen. DN Khurana, AVSM (Retired), a renowned luminary of corporate affairs and management education.

Gen. Khurana, who was associated professionally with Shri Singhania for many years, recalled the sagacity and other virtues of Shri Singhania. In his lecture, ‘On being a leader’, Gen. Khurana explained the qualities expected of young managers and the linkage between managers and leaders. He addressed several questions from faculty and students at the culmination of his talk.
Earlier during the event, Dr. Sudhir Sakhuja, VSM, Dean of JKBS, spoke about the life and times of Shri Govind Hari Singhania.
Welcoming the alumni, Dr. Sanjiv Marwah briefed them about the new initiatives and excellent placements of the batch 2013-15. “The response of overseas recruiters this year is especially encouraging”, he said. He also offered to fully support those alumni who are now entrepreneurs of startup companies. He also informed the alumni of the tie-up for an academic exposure to its current students in management institutes abroad.
