Mentor Connect® is being hailed by many as a “breakthrough” technology.  Much like an online dating site, students and mentors each complete a personal profile and respond to sets of questions that are used to make predictions for “best fit.”  The game-changer in the Mentor Connect® technology is that, unlike other mentoring programs, each mentoring program creates and learns from its own matching algorithms.

The proprietary, web-based platform relies on scientifically-validated, non-academic data derived from attitudes, behaviors, learning styles, and other personality characteristics related to academic persistence and social success.  Mentor Connect® takes what it learns from users and applies this proven data to effectively match students to key mentoring relationships that will positively influence their trajectory towards graduation.
