Al Shirawi Equipment Company (ASECO) to Launch Its Biggest Tipper Trailer Yet in 2016

Dubai-based trailer manufacturer, ASECO has announced the launch of its next generation 3-axle ATLAS tipper trailer in 2016 that features several enhancements, including a wide range of standard and special equipment.

Al Shirawi Equipment Company (ASECO) is launching its next generation 3-axle ATLAS tipper trailer in 2016 almost 40 years after the production of the first tipper body and 3 years after the successful reintroduction of the tipper trailer. The new trailer will be available in two load volume versions of 45 m³ and 48 m³ along with a wide range of standard and special equipment.

The Dubai-based trailer manufacturer’s clients will benefit from even more enhanced standard equipment while retaining the same price to performance ratio. Potential buyers can take a closer look at the company’s 2016 ATLAS tipper trailer at the ASECO Works, located in the Al Quoz 3 Industrial Area.

The 2016 version of the ATLAS tipper trailer features new developments in standard equipment to achieve even better load distribution, handling and manoeuvring. The wheelbase has been reduced by 165 millimetres to 4,435 millimetres. ASECO’s 3-axle tipper semitrailer also has an extra 170 millimetres overhang of the tipper body, which makes it perfect for use in road construction and saves clients both money and weight.

Installed separately from the mudguard supports, the light panel can be moved up out of the way easily and quickly to keep it well away from bitumen or finisher. To substantially reduce soiling by bitumen, the redeveloped folding locking device for the underride guard can be swung upwards. Additional improvements include the completely redesigned tailgate lock, which ensures that loose stones do not come in the way when closing. It also allows the sidewalls to align with the rear wall gate in an optimum manner.

“We are excited about the launch of our new 3-axle ATLAS tipper trailer with standard new enhancements that are especially relevant for road construction. Clients can be rest assured that every next generation ATLAS product will be produced to the same environmental standard with every step taken to minimize environmental impact,” said Sumeet Valrani, Director of ASECO.

The 2016 ATLAS tipper trailer is rounded off by an improved brake distribution system that is even better protected against damage now with the air and electrical lines being routed inside the frame, reinforcements in the frame above the axle brackets, and enhanced stability provided by the new connection between the side walls and the tipper trough.

ASECO has also developed special equipment in addition to the existing special and optional equipment such as insertable steel supports, toolboxes, ladders, water tanks, the various different combinations of wall thicknesses, etc. The 3-axle ATLAS 2016 includes new options like fitting an extendible ladder to the bulkhead in combination with the sliding roof. By simply releasing a rotating bolt and butterfly nut, users can climb down into and out of the tipper trough more easily and safely.
