Effective January 31, 2016 the appointment of Jerry Lowrey, Scott Roberson, Daleth Johnson (DJ), and Emily Demarest to Studio Director and Partner was announced. This new group, in conjunction with founder and managing partner, David Demarest, propel the firm into new category-focused growth; such as healthcare, aviation, and high-rise - and position the company to advance the brand’s strong presence within multifamily, student, and senior housing.

Jerry Lowrey - Partner and Studio Director in charge of design and client relationships. Jerry has over 30 years of experience in commercial, multifamily and single family residential architecture. As a creative Registered Architect, he has developed positive and productive relationships with clients, consultants, contractors and colleagues. He has a solid background in planning and design with problem solving skills. He has proven an ability to find creative solutions to client’s program and budget requirements with his extensive knowledge of zoning, building and ADA code requirements. Jerry graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Architecture in 1978 and has been a Registered Architect in the state of Texas since 1983. Scott Roberson - Partner and Studio Director in charge of personnel, HR, and operations. Being with AD since 2002, Scott has been the project manager on many of Architecture Demarest’s high profile multi-family, mixed-use and student housing projects since his arrival to the firm. With over 15 years of architectural experience and 20 years of design experience, Scott uses his strong design sense and excellent project management skills to develop well-coordinated buildings. He has led successful projects through to construction including many design/build projects. Daleth Johnson (DJ) - Partner and Studio Director in charge of construction administration and business development. Daleth has over 13 years of experience in commercial project construction. His expertise spans the following: K-12 facilities, Student Housing, Multi-family, Commercial building construction, High end residential, and General contracting. With this broad knowledge base, DJ brings a balance of real world experience and functional practicality to the job site (i.e. He knows how to get things built). Daleth’s trademarked motto is “Unity Produces Results”. Using this philosophy he has successfully overseen a vast number of Architecture Demarest Projects since his arrival to the Dallas office in 2006. Emily Demarest - Partner and Studio Director in charge of quality control and production. Emily is the studio leader for the Philadelphia office of Architecture Demarest. Emily joined AD in 2013 after honing her craft in New York City and Philadelphia. Based in Philadelphia, she opened and runs the studio in Philadelphia, PA. Emily has over 10 years of architectural experience and oversees this studio of talented architects and designers. Before joining AD, Emily gained experience on the planning, design and construction of many large and small scaled hospital and aviation projects in the north east. She was a key team member for a $68 million, multi-phase, design-build hospital. Emily graduated from The Pratt Institute with a Bachelor of Architecture in 2006.
