Free Product Image Exchange Shotfarm Launches Complete Image Gathering Service for Retailers
Shotfarm, the emerging standard in Product Image Exchange, now completes its offering with full-service Product Image and Information Gathering services for Retailers, shaving 50-80% off time and costs.
Online, September 14, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Shotfarm announced today the release of a suite of services for retailers and manufacturers to complement the company's widely adopted free Product Image Exchange. Featured is shotfarm's Image Gathering Service which promises to track down legitimate, manufacturer-supplied high-resolution images and required product specifications for retailers in any vertical.
The Image Gathering Service answers a popular request from shotfarm's retailers to offload the gathering of product images for ecommerce and print. "Any retailer who uses shotfarm's free exchange is thrilled with the immediate gains in efficiency," explains Mike Lapchick, shotfarm's founder. "But there's a growing number of retailers who would rather hand off the entire process and are asking if we can offer them a soup-to-nuts solution. We think our free Product Image Exchange already provides the soup so we just decided to add nuts to the menu with our new Image Gathering service."

Images collected on retailers' behalves will be posted to their shotfarm accounts from which they can be downloaded or, optionally, resized, renamed or hosted.
