Zoma Capital Invests in Colorado-Based PAIRIN to Support Its Mission of Making Education Relevant and Hiring Equitable

PAIRIN

Zoma Capital, the investment arm for the family office of Ben and Lucy Ana Walton, has announced an investment in PAIRIN, a social enterprise company that uses friendly science to personalize career exploration, hiring and professional development.

Zoma Capital’s focus on investing in solutions addressing key social problems in workforce development and community development, along with its geographic focus in Colorado, made an investment in PAIRIN a clear fit. Research shows an expanding skills gap in the United States, with only 11 percent of employers feeling like recent college graduates are prepared for the work world. This makes PAIRIN’s ability to measure and develop the soft skills that are 75 percent of what predicts an individual’s success in a job or program, a critical piece of solving our country’s talent pipeline crisis.

PAIRIN's proven tools are transforming how we prepare the future workforce and how we match individuals to optimal career paths where they can find meaningful work.

We look forward to watching PAIRIN’s influence continue to change the future of work,” Cheong added.

PAIRIN recently launched its online soft skills curriculum which includes 300 micro-lessons designed to address 54 different soft skills, such as critical thinking, decisionmaking and grit. By prioritizing curriculum recommendations for each individual based on their career goals and making them instantly assessable on any device, PAIRIN is making soft skill development easier and more impactful than ever before.
