World Travel, Inc. Website Wins Horizon Interactive Awards

​In today’s ultra-connected world, it is imperative to maintain compelling interaction and branding with your online visitors. The goal of the World Travel, Inc. corporate website redesign was to do just that: hone in on what visitors want while conveying a message, loud and clear.

World Travel, Inc. contracted Brolik, an award-winning digital agency located in Philadelphia, to power the redesign, and worked closely with the team there to create an award-winning site.

“Our entire goal as a company – from Operations clear through to Marketing – is to Make Travel Simple,” said Marketing & Communications Manager, Chesley Turner. “It’s not always easy to do this on the res floor, and it’s not always easy to do this on the website. But that was our overarching motivation: to serve up simply what our prospective clients needed, and allow for an opportunity to engage them further.”

Turner worked in concert with Kevin Martin, EVP Business Development, Michael Farrell, SVP Events & Communications, and Maureen DiLello, Marketing Coordinator, to make sure that the website resonated World Travel, Inc.’s branding. “We were determined to write our own verbiage and select our own imagery. It has to be sharp, it has to pop, and it has to make sense to a travel manager. It can’t just look cool. But, of course, looking cool helps too.” said Turner.

The result of Brolik’s interactive design and World Travel, Inc.’s content is a new website that is earning industry accolades. Brolik submitted the site for consideration for the Horizon Interactive Awards, and it won two awards, taking Bronze in the Travel & Tourism division and Silver in the Corporate/B2B division. The Horizon Interactive Awards, over 14 seasons old, has become one of the most prestigious awards in the field of interactive and creative media, and receives thousands of entries from all over the world. Entries are judged by a diverse volunteer panel of industry professionals.
