Woops! Macarons and Cookies Opening Pop-Up Location at Made in Philadelphia Holiday Market
Congratulations, Philadelphia! It's a... Woops! Pop-Up
PHILADELPHIA, November 28, 2017 (Newswire.com) - A pop-up location of the NYC-based artisanal bakery Woops!, the largest macaron business in the U.S., will make an appearance at the 2017 Made in Philadelphia Holiday Market. The holiday market begins Nov. 18 and will run until Jan. 1. The pop-up shop is located at Dilworth Park (1 South 15th Street) at City Hall in Center City, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Along with its signature range of over 20 delicious macaron flavors, Woops! will serve pastries such as Cremebello, liege Belgian waffles, mini stroopwafels, and gourmet cookies.
Bob Rivell, the owner of the pop-up shop, is thrilled to be joining the Philadelphia community. Bob was formerly a senior executive for Accenture, a management consulting and technology services company. But after 25 years, he wanted to spend less time traveling and more time with his family.

When he found Woops! he knew it was exactly what he was looking for. As a brand that prioritizes connection and relationships, Woops! provided the perfect opportunity for him to start his own business while also becoming part of the larger Woops! network. He opened two locations, a boutique kiosk at Cherry Hill Mall in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, and a BakeShop at the Christiana Mall in Newark, Delaware, where his family is able to work together. Philadelphia — the midpoint between the two cities — is the perfect addition to his growing family.
Along with the tremendous attention to the quality of their macarons and pastries, Bob connected with Woops because of their diverse selection of products. “There is something for everyone!” Bob notes. After traveling to 40 countries and spending several years abroad, he has had the privilege of trying a wide array of desserts from all over the world, many of which are currently featured at Woops! kiosks and BakeShops.
More on Woops!: A team of four passionate creatives (who also happened to be friends) started Woops! in New York City with macaron pop-up shops in 2012. Since then, Woops! kiosks and BakeShops have expanded nationwide. Woops! macarons are the most authentic outside of Paris and are handmade to perfection.
