Voorhees Breakfast Rotary Club Tees Up For Annual Not-So-Mini Golf Event

Sponsorships and Tickets are available for an Adults-Only Evening of Fun, Food, Fellowship…and FOOOOOORRRRE!!!

The Voorhees Breakfast Rotary Club is getting set for their popular Not-So-Mini Golf Outing slated for Wednesday evening, October 1st, 2014 at Pleasant Valley Miniature Golf on Route 73 in Voorhees.  Local businesses and individuals 21 and older are invited to take advantage of an evening of friendship and fun – complete with food, beer, wine AND 18 holes of mini-golf – all in support of the Club’s charitable efforts in the community.

“This is the fourth year for our Mini-Golf Outing,” said Nancy Hering, committee chair, “and we’re hoping it will be our biggest.  Every year we have such a great time…and when you figure that tickets are only $20 each and include food, drink AND entertainment, you really can’t beat it for a fun evening out!”

In addition to the $20 ticket price – hole sponsorships are also available for just $75.  Proceeds from the Not-So-Mini Golf outing benefit the Voorhees Breakfast Rotary Club’s numerous local and international service projects.

Chartered in 2001, The Voorhees Breakfast Rotary Club works with many community organizations including Voorhees Elementary and Middle Schools, Eastern High School, Voorhees Pediatric Center, Voorhees Relay for Life, Ronald McDonald House and The Cathedral Kitchen, to name a few.  Club members contribute their time and energies to countless community service projects including Thanksgiving baskets, dictionaries, school supplies, an annual Voorhees Spring Egg Hunt, Josh the Otter Water Safety and Literacy programs - and more.  Internationally, the Club participates in the Polio Plus program targeting eradication of Polio worldwide; and lends support to an orphanage in Santo Domingo as well as clean water projects in developing nations.

The Voorhees Breakfast Rotary Club meets weekly every Thursday from 7:15 to 8:30 a.m. at the Short Hills Restaurant and Deli on Evesham Road in Cherry Hill.
