VMS BioMarketing Named a Best Workplace for Giving Back by Fortune Magazine and Great Place to Work®

VMS Core Values

VMS BioMarketing, a leading provider of patient support solutions, is proud to have been named one of the 2017 Best Workplaces for Giving Back by Fortune magazine and a Great Place to Work®. The recognition is based on more than 350,000 surveys of employees across a range of industries, as well as their organizations’ charitable programs and giving.

“We are so proud of the integrity of our employees who make such a positive influence on the community,” said Abigail Mallon, senior vice president of innovation and chief compliance officer. “At VMS, everyone from our clinical nurse educators to our account management teams and support staff has a shared passion for helping others.”

The people-driven culture of VMS places great importance on its core values. “They aren’t just words. These guiding principles are alive in our decision-making every day. Our core value of being passionate about empowering people encourages us to be deeply engaged and inspired to be a part of a mission-driven company solely focused on helping people to better engage in their health,” said Mallon. “Our value of sharing our gifts encourages us to give our time, money, and talents to enrich the lives of others and improve our communities.”

At VMS, everyone from our nurse educators to our account management teams and support staff has a shared passion for helping others.

VMS offers employees unlimited time off for volunteering – no matter how they wish to use it. “This could mean volunteering at the local food bank, joining a walkathon, or organizing a fundraiser,” said Mallon. “We also love to blend competition and caring. Our upcoming annual chili cook-off is a huge event at our company that appeals to everyone’s competitive spirit and raises money for the Alzheimer’s Association.” Other recent activities have supported the local Ronald McDonald House, JDRF, and Race for the Cure. VMS also provides matching funds for employee contributions to charitable organizations each year, and the company increased its match for donations to help hurricane victims in Texas and Florida.

The recognition as a company that gives back is one of several honors VMS has received from Great Place to Work and Fortune magazine. For three years running, VMS has been a Great Place to Work-Certified™ company. In 2016, VMS was honored as a Best Medium-sized Workplace in America and, in 2015, as a Best Workplace for Women in America.
