GOES VIRAL FOR THE HOLIDAYS

A video posted on Facebook this past Wednesday, December 16, 2015 has already received over 13,000 views and helped raise over $16,000 for a Massachusetts based Children’s Hospital.

The short video follows a group of local children who wanted to bring some holiday cheer to the patients of Baystate Children's Hospital (Springfield MA). When the kids learned how some families couldn’t be home for the holidays, they figured that maybe they could bring the spirit of the season to them. Robert Charles Photography and Ryan James Videography teamed up to help capture the special visit. The resulting video has helped raise $16,173 for Baystate Children’s Hospital. The video debuted live on air with the “Kellog Krew” of 94.7, WMAS, December 16. The response was immediate. Before the interview was over, hundreds of people had already logged on to watch the video & begin making comments.

Robert Charles Photography, a nationally recognized portrait studio located in East Longmeadow, MA holds an annual fundraiser for Baystate Children’s Hospital. To date, they have donated over $80,000. Their hope is that the video will help them get their total to over $100,000 by the end of 2015. “This time of year is about coming together as a community and helping those in need.
