The Utah Avalanche are excited to announced their acceptance into the American Basketball Association (ABA). The team will play in the Rocky Mountain Conference. The team's central location works well with the Rocky Mountain Division and the Southern California Division (So Cal). The team will play their home games in Salt Lake City.

" With teams in Nevada, Southern California, Arizona and Colorado makes the Salt Lake market ideal for the league."
The Avalanche will be active members of the community and will be working with the Boys and Girls Club and Car Show for a Cause. The team will is currently fundraising for their "Hats For Cancer." This fundraiser focuses on providing team hats for children with cancer. The team also expects to broadcast games at the institution. The team expects that have positive result from their community efforts. The core belief is that if they take care of the community then the community will take care of them.
The goal of the Avalanche is to give local talent the chance to play and
refine their skills to further their career in basketball. The team will be conducting player tryouts throughout the summer. The teams first tryout is June 1 at the XSI Factory in Lehi registration fee is $75 prior and $100 the week of tryouts and player will get a four hour tryout and all participants will receive tickets to our home opener.

The Utah Avalanche dance team will be conducting their first tryout on Saturday, June 22 at the Fuze Fitness audition cost $30 prior and $50 the week of the auditions. Utah's rich dance community will help enhance the fan experience and make a more entertaining experience.
