U.S. Chamber of Commerce Names Mindsharp a Blue Ribbon Small Business Award® Winner
Online, March 12, 2012 (Newswire.com) - The U.S. Chamber of Commerce has named Mindsharp a Blue Ribbon Small Business Award® winner. Only seventy-five companies across the United States receive this designation each year. Mindsharp received the award in recognition of its dedication to the principles of free enterprise and its contributions to restoring jobs and prosperity in America. The Blue Ribbon Small Business Award® also recognizes a company's excellent business practices in the areas of strategy, employee development, community involvement and customer service.
Mindsharp is a $4M+ company focused on providing software training and education nationwide to companies implementing or using Microsoft SharePoint. The company was founded in 2003 and has since grown to 30 employees, serving 58 percent of the Fortune 100 companies and conducting the annual SharePoint Best Practices Conference.
"It is an incredible honor for Mindsharp to be named a Blue Ribbon Small Business by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce," said Bill English, CEO of Mindsharp. "I am proud of the entire Mindsharp team for their dedication to serving our customers and the community around them."
This year's 75 Blue Ribbon winners were selected from a record number of nationwide applicants and will be honored at America's Small Business Summit 2012, which will be held from May 21-23 in Washington, D.C. On March 15, seven of the Blue Ribbon recipients will be announced as award finalists, and one will be named the DREAM BIG Small Business of the Year during the summit. The winner will be presented with a $10,000 cash prize courtesy of the U.S. Chamber.
