Media announces client and Producer Susannah D’Arcy of Darcy Media Worldwide (DMW) receives the television acquisition rights of Kool School- a diverse, arts-driven educational series for K-3 children. Kool School is content-ready, producing over a dozen episodes spearheaded by notable child actors, Daytime Emmy Award Nominees and professional athletes. This series is currently seeking television distribution.
Kool School lays foundational learning experiences for academia nationwide, aligned to the National Learning Standards. Kool School is the only live-action series of its kind, using the arts to teach Math, English, Science, Global Studies, Career Exploration and more. This high-energy, music-driven (edutainment) series engages students while providing the skills needed to succeed in school.
Kool School’s Award-Winning Team
Creator/Executive Producer Joshua Olatunde has worked in Edu-Tainment (National Theater for Children and Apple Tree Co.), K-12 and International Education (LAUSD, NYC Public Schools, Namibian Board of Ed) and post-secondary institutions (Harvard University and UCLA). He’s received awards from The Austin Film Festival, New York Theater Circle and WorldTeach.
Director Tamara Ruppart has been nominated at several International Film Festivals, winning “Best Director” at Director’s Choice Awards for “Path of Dreams”. She’s currently a Professor at USC’s Film School. Prior, Ruppart studied Digital Filmmaking and Directing at the New York Academy and New York University.
Susannah D’Arcy, owner of DMW has a prestigious background in Television series, prime-time specials and Global Live Events. She is founding Executive in iStage LIVE, a global Musical Theater company developing five major Musicals simultaneously. D’Arcy is also a Producer’s Rep for the sale and distribution of independent films internationally for BritCan Media Ltd., a film fund, a Mentor for Producer’s Guild of America Power of Diversity Master Workshop and West Events Committee Chairman.
