PostIdol Media, a professional web firm for the last 9 years is currently going through a complete upgrade and revamp of it's policies and skillset following personal tragedy for lead designer.

When asked what is sparking the abrupt change to the business structure and it's various services, CEO, founder and lead designer, Jackson Presley stated "I have been noticing a shift for quite some time on some of the latest trends in web design, and then I lost my Mother abruptly in May of this year and I can only say that it sparked an awakening of some sort inside. Ever since then, our design style has been more creative, professional and sometimes even experimental".

A predominantly Flash web design company, Jackson touched on having to expand their horizons and what's instore for PostIdol Media and it's current and future clients; "Well, I think we have decided to stop focusing so much on completely Flash designs. Not that we are straying away from them at all, but we are now focusing more on backend, improved scripting and coding skillsets for those Flash design and really starting to give the client more control over their still very "custom" web design. Which tends to me a somewhat elusive thing. Custom design and CMS, often don't go hand in hand. But we're trying to change that!".

When asked about what he thought of the HTML5 vs Flash debate, Jackson confidently stated; "What debate? HTML5 is cool, don't get me wrong, but it really doesn't seam to have the ground breaking steam that it's hype stated. We haven't noticed any impact to our Flash business since HTML5's release. I don't think it's a competing factor at all. In fact with Adobe and Google working so closely making Flash index-able by search engines now and Google Analytics is compatible with Flash now...if anything I foresee a big rise in Flash sites again. The big wave is coming! Get on board!"
