The state of technology has come a very long way in the last 50 years and has made human life more manageable. Technology, unfortunately, has even replaced lots of human jobs and replaced them with machines.

But in many fields, technology cannot compare in tasks and jobs that require advanced skill as well as human intelligence.

These advanced skills are passed in families from generation to generation sometimes, which makes sure that the art of excellent craftsmanship is preserved for years to come. It also makes sure it is not lost on a single individual.

Todd Kassal knows this first hand. As a master of the art of welding, Kassal has made his name known by almost everyone in the city of Scottsdale, Arizona.

Many people have the unpopular misconception that welding is an easy task and that anybody can become familiar with welding quickly.

And while it is not as advanced as other jobs or skills, it is not as easy as it looks. There are a lot of factors and talent that need to be kept in mind to make sure a welding job will withstand heavy duty use for years to come, all while maintaining its structural integrity.

These decisions and factors consist of choosing the correct choice of metals to be welded to making sure the amount of welding is just right, so the joints can hold together correctly.

Todd Kassal always makes a point to say that welding requires split-second calculations, which can be only done by humans who are skilled in the art of welding.

Kassal was born to a family of welders in Arizona and was fascinated by the art of welding and the process of how two distinct pieces of metal were connected together as one. All of this with the help of welding done by a human.

Kassal used to visit his dad in his workshop a few times during the week and look on enthusiastically at the way his father used to weld with such accuracy and precision.

Todd Kassal's father, even during financial hardship, enrolled Todd to a school, where Todd was one of the star pupils.

Kassal could not afford the required expensive school books, but he still passed his school and high school handily, scoring high in all of his subjects.

Afterwards, Todd Kassal enrolled in college and pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture.

Kassal also decided to pursue a technical degree in Welding. His talent and skills translated into getting a job almost right after completing his welding education. Kassal was thrust quickly into his welding gig, getting involved in several large projects of infrastructure all around the country as well as in other major nations of the world.

Kassal held a passion for welding for years and wanted to spread his love for the job for people who wish to learn the craft.

He settled in his hometown of Scottsdale, Arizona and decided to teach his welding skills to learners.

Now after years of welding around the world, Todd Kassal heads various welding classes, and a student can really understand his enthusiasm while attending one of his courses.

He is also one of the several who are doing their bit to make sure that the art of welding and the precision skills and craftsmanship involved are passed on for years to come.

Instead of being lost in the fold as new technology emerges and evolves, Kassal is giving an opportunity to the future generation of welders to see how things used to perform before the rise of technology, which is slowly taking the workload off humans.
