“We are extremely proud to have the opportunity to participate in Downtown Cary’s growth,” stated Deanna Crossman, proprietor of the Mayton Inn. “We’re grateful to have had the ongoing support of the Town of Cary and are appreciative of all they have done to help with this project.”
The hotel will provide Cary residents a high-class downtown experience, including dining, pampering and relaxing. The project is part of Cary’s urban renewal program, which is designed to encourage growth and activity in the heart of Cary. Named after the historic Mayton home, which is located on the property along with the Waldo House, the inn embraces the preservation of Cary’s history. The Waldo House will be restored and used by the Mayton Inn for private events and romantic evenings away.
The hotel was designed by David Arneson of Center Studio Architecture and will be built by Bridgepoint General Contracting. Madge Megliola of Megliola Beal Interior Design is seeing to the fine details of each room with furnishings that are predominately manufactured locally by CCF.
The expected completion date for the project is late spring 2015.
