The Interdenominational Theological Center to Partner With Campus

As college and university administrators seek to better connect people and systems across all modalities, schools look to Campus for better experiences with people, processes, systems, and support.

Campus, a contemporary, mobile and web-based portal platform, today announced it has partnered with The Interdenominational Theological Center (ITC).  The partnership was announced after ITC received a grant to cover integration of the Campus portal with ITC's learning ecosystem.

Founded in 1958, the Interdenominational Theological Center (ITC) is an ecumenical historically African American theological consortium located in the heart of Atlanta, GA. The ITC cultivates faith-rooted leadership for five Christian denominations, three of which are historically Black faith traditions: Baptist, African Methodist Episcopal, Christian Methodist Episcopal, United Methodist, and Church of God in Christ as well as the Selma T. and Harry V. Richardson Ecumenical Fellowship.

Campus will serve as ITC's new portal connecting the ITC community in a virtual setting.  Students will use Campus to check email, have discussions, check balances, see relevant communications, and much more.  ITC will be able to better serve current students, faculty, and staff with the exceptional customer service they are used to, but both at greater scale and distance.

Chase Williams, CEO at Campus, commented, “COVID-19 has brought greater attention to affective needs, holistic experiences at a distance, and connectivity for students like never before.  It is satisfying to help schools not only offer education remotely but a legitimate ‘student experience’ despite current conditions.”

Campus is a modern, cloud-hosted portal that connects people, platforms, and processes providing students with a dynamic, one-stop-shop on any device.  Campus offers an integrated digital community that drives engagement and overall student experience.

“In the transition to ITC 2.0, we are looking to ensure that we maintain camaraderie and collaboration amongst students and facilitate better communication amongst faculty, staff and students,” stated Carl E. Patten II, ITC’s Interim Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of Operations.  “Campus will fit seamlessly into the ITC environment and ensure that students can start all of their interactions in one place. Campus will allow prospective students, matriculating students and alumni to gather in one virtual space.”

As ITC seeks to ensure business continuity throughout the current climate and drive effective communication, connect people to all manner of support, and promote holistic connection regardless of modality, the Campus solution should help bolster the institution’s infrastructure immediately.
