Under new ownership, renovated and reopened in 2014, The Acme Tavern has become a newly found hideaway for people looking for drinks and great service. Now it's becoming a monthly venue for Pacific Northwest comedians to showcase their skills in a casual, intimate environment.
Started early in 2015, 3rd Thursday Comedy has become the monthly “must attend” after-hours addition to the 3rd Thursday events in downtown Tacoma. With a rotating crew of well known Pacific Northwest comedians in an intimate casual enviornment. This show is like a monthly hangout with hilarious family and friends rather than a show in a stuffy club with over priced drinks. The Grit City Podcast is excited to carry this event and partnership into 2016.
