TEDxIVC at Historic Yost Theater March 6

​​TEDxIVC is an independently organized TED event hosted in Orange County, California, with the mission of sharing “ideas worth spreading”. This insightful visionary conference is where Technology, Entertainment, and Design all converge as speakers from all over the country come together to spread ideas, usually in the form of short, powerful talks (18 minutes or less).

TEDxIVC will take place at the Yost Theater in Santa Ana on March 6, 2020 from noon to 3 p.m. The doors open at 11 a.m. and close at noon. TEDxIVC will have 8 speakers and 2 performers.

·         Franky Zapata – Inventor of World’s First Jet Hoverboard

Talk: What Will the Sky Look Like in the Future?

·         Michael Jones – Director of Inspiring Philosophy

Talk: The Draft in Perspective

Performers include:

·         Robert Incelli – Renowned Venezuelan Musician/Latin-Jazz Saxophonist

TEDxIVC is fully run by IVC students and alumni with strong ambitions to gift the Orange County community with a one-of-a-kind TEDx event to remember. Despite complications within the Irvine Valley College Administration that had backed TEDxIVC, the event is receiving support from various individual faculty and staff members, including guidance from the Former Director of Student Life and Equity, Anissa Cessa Heard Johnson. TEDxIVC will be held on March 6 and showcased internationally.
