SYNCIS Proud to Be a Sponsor of World's Largest Fundraiser for Alzheimer's Care, Support, and Research
Walk to End Alzheimer's Held in Long Beach, California
LONG BEACH, Calif., November 15, 2022 (Newswire.com) - Syncis, Inc. (SYNCIS), a financial marketing organization, once again sponsored and participated in the Alzheimer's Association's Walk to End Alzheimer's held on Oct. 29, 2022, in Long Beach, California's famous Rainbow Lagoon Park.
"We were initially inspired to participate in this important fundraiser after learning that family members of our Associates have been afflicted with Alzheimer's," said John Kim, co-founder of SYNCIS. "We're proud to be part of increasing Alzheimer's awareness and improving the lives of those across the country affected by this devastating disease."
With more than six million Americans living with Alzheimer's, it is a leading cause of death in the United States, and the number of sufferers is projected to double over the coming decades. In 2022, the disease will cost Americans $321 billion, with more than 11 million men and women providing unpaid care for those with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia.
In addition to its Platinum Sponsorship of the Long Beach walk this year, dozens of volunteers associated with SYNCIS proudly participated. The Alzheimer's Association's Walk to End Alzheimer's is held annually in more than 600 communities across the nation. The event is famous for flowers participants hold throughout the fundraiser to show solidarity with those afflicted by Alzheimer's.
