“We recently ran a summer competition in our office for a VZ Gym Bag filled with VZ Gear,” shared Kenneth. “It ran for a week and was a huge success. Everyone had fun looking at the leader boards and working hard to move their name up. Winning a prize can be a great way to motivate team members and add some friendly competition into the office.”
He said that another competition happening this summer is the Telecom Championship. This event will be held in conjunction with other offices around the country and will let people compete nationally to be one of the top 30 representatives in the industry.
Kenneth described some of the prizes. “For anyone who can meet certain leadership criteria by the first of July, there’s a nice Tag Heuer Watch. For the person who finishes first, there’s a Breitling watch. These are nice watches, so our associates who think they are close to meeting the competition’s leadership requirements this summer are working hard.”

When they meet those goals, their mentor or team leader will take them out for a fancy dinner. It can be a lot of fun and a great chance for people to bond over shared successes.”
