Burnaby, British Columbia, October 16, 2017 (Newswire.com) - Icron Technologies Corporation, a leader in USB and video extension technology, announced today that Rose Electronics, a pioneer in developing KVM switch technology, will be displaying the latest in USB and KVM extension solutions leveraging Icron’s patented ExtremeUSB® and ExtremeUSB-C™ technologies at the NAB Show New York held October 18th and 19th.
Rose will be demonstrating their new CrystalLink USB 3.1 Fiber solution extending USB 3.1, 2.0 and 1.1 devices simultaneously over single duplex multi-mode fiber cable up to 200m. Also on display will be the new CrystalLink USB 3.1 CATx for simultaneous extension of USB 3-2-1 over 100m of CAT 6a cable; as well as select models from the CrystalLink USB 2.0 extender series including the new CrystalLink USB 2.0 CATx Flex that provides installers the option to power at either the host or peripheral side, whichever is most convenient.

Additionally, when High Definition video extension is required, Rose offers four KVM extender models for DVI + USB 2.0 and HDMI + USB 2.0 applications with the CrystalView EX DVI and EX DVI Multi and the CrystalView EX HDMI and EX HDMI Multi respectively.
All CrystalLink and CrystalView extenders with ExtemeUSB and ExtremeUSB-C technologies feature transparent USB extension, true plug and play (no software drivers required) and compatibility with all major operating systems: Windows®, macOS™ and Linux®.
