Rosarium Publishing Picks Up Four Glyph Award Nominations

Indie comic book and scifi novel publisher Rosarium Publishing was nominated for four Glyph awards over the weekend. The Glyph Comics Awards were created by and held in conjunction with The East Coast Black Age of Comics Convention in Philadelphia, PA. The Glyphs goal is to recognize the best in comics made by, for, and about people of color from the previous calendar year. The awards are not only for African-American creators, nor are they only for comics featuring Black characters. However, past winners have all created comics with at least one major character of color. The Rosarium nominations are as follows:

Nominated for Best Cover - Blue Hand Mojo: Dust to Dust #1 - written and drawn by John Ira Jennings 

Nominated for Best Artist  Blue Hand Mojo: Dust to Dust #1 - written and drawn by John Ira Jennings 

- Day Black: Shot in the Ass #4 - written and drawn by KEEF CROSS

Nominated for Best Female Character -  ”Lilly” of Malice in Ovenland - written and drawn by Micheline Hess

The winners will be announced at the Glyph Comic Awards Ceremony on May 20, 2016 at 6pm at the African American Museum in Philadelphia (AAMP), 701 Arch St. Philadelphia, PA 19106.
