Rhema Word Christian Academy Launches Two Scholarship Programs for 2018-2019 School Year
South Florida Kindergarten through 12th Grade Affordable Private Christian School Offers Scholarship Programs for Both Incoming Students & College Undergraduates and Graduates
FORT LAUDERDALE, FL , June 12, 2018 (Newswire.com) - Rhema Word Christian Academy (RWCA), one of South Florida’s most affordable, private Christian schools, has launched two scholarship programs – one benefiting an incoming or current student at RWCA, and one benefiting an undergraduate or graduate student enrolled in a U.S. college, university or institute.
RWCA has launched their first college scholarship titled The Rhema Word Christian Academy Faith Under Fire Scholarship 2018. This scholarship is open to any student enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program by September 1, 2018 at any accredited U.S. college, university or institute.
Each applicant must submit an essay of 500 words or less that expresses how he or she plans to maintain his or her faith after high school, or while in college. One student will win a $1,000 scholarship to use toward school-related expenses such as tuition, books, or room and board. The deadline to apply for this scholarship is August 1, 2018. In addition, Rhema Word Christian Academy is offering one incoming or current RWCA student the ability to win a $5,000 scholarship toward their Rhema Word Christian Academy tuition. The eligibility requirements are listed below:
- Only open to grades 6-12.
- Must have A/B grade average, or a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Must be part of a local church with a letter from a Pastor required.
- Must have a history of excellent behavior both inside and outside of the classroom.
Each applicant is required to submit an essay of 250 words or more that describes his or her future aspirations and how he or she plans to achieve them. The deadline to apply for this scholarship is July 1, 2018, and a winner will be selected and announced on July 15, 2018.
