PTT Thailand Senior Open 2010 Is All Set To Go

Between the 1st and 4th of December 2010, the Royal Chiang Mai Golf Resort is the place where it all happens. Like in 2008, the Thailand Senior PGA is coming back to beautiful Chiang Mai for this year's big match, the PTT Thailand Senior Open 2010.

The Thailand Senior Professional Golfers Association is proud to host the PTT Thailand Senior Open 2010 in Chiang Mai between the 1st and the 4th of December 2010 on the beautiful Royal Chiang Mai Golf Resort.

162 players will be competing over three days for the 5 Million THB purse and like in any prior "open" event there have been many foreign Senior PGA's invited to this tournaments and we have now 50 players from the USA, Australia, South Africa, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, The Philippines and others coming to beautiful Chiang Mai to compete, says Mr. Siripong Oontorpan, the President of the Thailand Senior PGA.

We can expect to see some great golf again and the golf course is nice prepared and quite challenging, as it is located in a rather hilly area just in the outskirts of Chiang Mai.

Admission is free and we would be delighted to greet many visitors during the tournament. Especially the last day of the event bares a lot of excitement, as the scores are traditionally very close together. Last year the PTT Thailand senior open saw many famous players, including Boonchu Ruankit, Costantino Rocca, Juan Quiros and Steward Gin competing in the event, so let's see what and who is happening this year.
