Pink Ribbon Story Foundation 501 (c)(3) to hold Founders’ Gala & Auction Saturday, November 8th, 2014 at The Farm at The Inn Serenbe in Palmetto, GA  to honor breast cancer survivors and their families who’ve shared their stories and to raise funds to film additional survivor stories.

Devoted to the ever-growing expansion of their breast cancer survivors’ network, Pink Ribbon Story Foundation (PRSF)   helps guide patients and their families through the breast cancer treatment process by providing “narrative medicine.” Through the use of video storytelling, PRSF Ambassadors provide the best source of credible information about the issues confronting the newly diagnosed because they have already been through it.  Ambassadors and their stories enable Pink Ribbon Story Foundation to create an online network of women empowering women, helping the newly diagnosed navigate their breast cancer journey and better advocate for their physical and emotional needs.

Pink Ribbon Story’s Ambassadors and family members offer their narratives to help other women and their families navigate the tribulations associated with breast cancer treatment through knowledge and experience. Showing how beneficial the breast cancer survivors’ network can be to the faith of a fighter, PRSF Ambassador Elizabeth K. shared with PRSF, “The more I looked around, the more I saw that it wasn’t just me.”

This year’s Gala will feature a gourmet farm to table dinner showcasing the culinary mastery of nationally known and award-winning Chef Linton Hopkins of Restaurant Eugene, exquisite wine pairings, live entertainment featuring bluegrass music by the Lonesome Traveler Band and a live auction.

Fundraising events, such as the Gala, help Pink Ribbon Story Foundation continue to document and disseminate the powerful stories of those affected by breast cancer; building a cancer survivor community centered on education, understanding and empowerment.  Through generous support, the Pink Ribbon Story Foundation is able to get closer to achieving the goal of being the nation’s leading online library of video narratives of breast cancer patient and survivors.  91 cents out of every dollar raised at the Gala will be used to film, edit and host ambassador stories, provide outreach/community through the ambassador network, and increase overall awareness about the PRSF organization.  The larger the network, the more likely PRSF is able to reach and provide a resource for more cancer survivors.

Gala tickets for this enjoyable evening under the stars may be directly purchased online for $400 per person or $4000 for a table of ten. To support the efforts of PRSF, sponsorship packages are also available from $1,000-$25,000 and for those who are unable to attend, tax-deductible donations may be made by check, credit card, or by donating to PRSF online.
