Philmac Introduces Whole New Range of PVC Ball Valves

Philmac is the brand of choice for poly fittings in rural Australia, providing secure connections for the movement of our most precious resource - water.

Philmac, providing some of the best valves, has introduced a whole new range of PVC ball valves. The company distributes best quality poly ball valves that can be used for commercial and industrial water transfer applications. The company distributes FIP range of PVC ball valves used for commercial and industrial applications. The FIP range of ball valves includes PVC ball valves, 3-way ball valves and diaphragm valves. These valves are a system of products that are used in the construction process and service lines to convey industrial fluids at maximum operating temperatures. The valves are available from Ѕ" to 4" in a selection of configurations.

A spokesperson states, "The PVC-U range of valves is a system of products for use in the construction of process and service lines to convey industrial fluids. PVC -U resins guarantee excellent chemical resistance with regard to most acids and alkalis, aliphatic hydrocarbons and saline solutions, PVC_U resins is also totally compatible for handling food grade fluids, treated and untreated drinking water as well as demineralized water according to current national and international standards. Mostly in the intermediate temperature range between 20 °C and 50 °C, PVC-U finds its ideal application in industrial and water supplies, guaranteeing optimal performance in terms of mechanical resistance, good rigidity, low coefficients of thermal expansion and optimal safety factors in service."

The range of poly ball valves is produced using PVC-U resins compliant with the standards EN 1452 and ISO 4422 and in observance of the requirements of DIN 8063 and EN ISO 15493 for the use of plastic pipes in industrial processes. The best part about PVC U resins is that it provides excellent chemical resistance with regard to most of the akalis, alphatic hydrocarbons and saline solutions. PVC-U resins are totally compatible for handling food grade fluids, treated and untreated drinking water, as well as demineralized water according to current national and international standards.

"Mostly in the intermediate temperature range between 20 °C and 50 °C, PVC-U finds its ideal application in industrial and water supplies, guaranteeing optimal performance in terms of mechanical resistance, good rigidity, low coefficients of thermal expansion and optimal safety factors in service. PVC-U resins feature is an high value in the material strength (Minimum Required Strength MRS ≥ 25.0 Mpa at 20°C) and an extremely extended lifetime. The entire production range of PVC-U is manufactured in a quality assurance system, according to UNI EN ISO 9001. FIP PVC-U valves and fittings are approved for use on board ships and other units classified by RINA (Italian Naval Register), Bureau Veritas and Germanischer Lloyd," says a spokesperson.
