Romantic" cocktail classes for starry eyed couples
In Peacock Bar's "romantic" cocktail classes the pace is deliberately set slow and the emphasis is on execution and presentation with style and panache. Each partner makes his or hers partner's favourite cocktail in turn before retiring together to drink them. The scoring cards are also on the romantic side with messages like "the best boyfriend in the world ever"
"Friends" cocktail making for socialising
In Peacock Bar's "friends" cocktail making evenings the pace is faster with a bit more naughtiness and silliness. The mixologists will often put two people behind the bar in pairs or arrange a boys vs girls competition for mixed groups. People can start early or join late on a rolling basis
"Party" cocktail lessons for birthday, hen and stag party groups
In Peacock Bar's "party" cocktail classes the emphasis is on fun with a lot of naughtiness and silliness included. The mixologists will put two people behind the bar at a time one either side of the trainer and will often start with the hen, stag or birthday boy/girl first. The scoring cards are also much more on the naughty side with comments like "hope you are better in bed than making cocktails"
*"Corporate" cocktail making classes for office party groups
For Peacock Bar's "corporate" cocktail classes the mixologists add a bit of competition with awards for the best and worst performers with the trainer(s) scoring the delegates on execution, presentation, style and charisma. The scoring cards also have more of a corporate slant too with comments like "must try harder")
"Apprentice" cocktail making evening for works outings, team building and corporate events *
In Peacock Bar's Apprentice cocktail lessons the delegates are split into two competing teams. Delegates are scored continuously and at the end of the class hired or more likely fired. The scoring cards and audio /video cues are all based aroud The Apprentice Tv series
One hour three cocktails per person £19pp classes and Two hour five cocktails per person £30pp classes
Each of these cocktail classes are available in one hour or two hour versions. In the two hour version additional elements are added such as
- cocktail service. From the third cocktail onwards trainees have to also serve the cocktails as stylishly as possible whilst saying something suggestive like "Would Sir / Madam like anything else"
- making layered shots. To add vvariety Peaock Bar's mixologists show delegates how to make a layered shot (
- designing your own cocktail. Peacock Bar's cocktail staff will help each group group design their own special cocktail to make, taste and score
When, where and bookings?
Cocktail Lessons are available on Saturdays from 1pm-8.30pm and Sunday -Friday 5pm-9.30pm. Allow 45 minutes min for a three cocktail lesson and one hour 45 minutes min for a five cocktail lesson. We can also arrange afternoon classes mid week.
