Hardwired sensors do require expertise for the precise placement so as to provide optimal sensing however with the SENSOLUX, the placement of the sensor can be changed at will without worrying about wiring.

This sensor is powered with Solar Cells which charge the batteries permitting a durable operation over a period of 5 days in the absence of any ambient light. The sensor can communicate over a distance of 30 meters with its receiver thereby providing flexibility and reduced wiring. For instance, the cabling required for a standard switch can be eliminated. The receiver itself can be placed unobtrusively over a plaster ceiling or in the distribution panel itself. Receivers are available as a single channel output or as a twin channel output.

A parallel wirelessly actuated switched can be interfaced in the configuration for manual activation of the lighting loads.
