Occupy the Internet? CommHubb Surges!
Seattle, Washington, May 18, 2016 (Newswire.com) - With an impressive showing of over 50,000 new “member/owners” joining in the first 18 days of operation, CommHubb seems to be on to something. Their intention is to achieve “autonomy and integrity for the Internet” by first occupying the Internet and then by owning and controlling the Internet. Is this just another pipe dream or is there substance to this cause?
“There are a few people who don’t believe that we can do this.” says Vashek Mohr the Executive Manager of Commhubb.com. “We have to do this. After seeing what corporations and politicians have done to this world, do we really want them controlling and monetizing the Internet? Do we want them to decide what we will see or if we will even see it?” continued Mohr.
“All information is sacred because knowledge is sacred. No one person, or group, has the right to decide what course the Internet takes. Only the people, as a whole globally, can decide the course and fate of the Internet.” added Mohr.
“The Internet is now basically the essence of humanity. It contains the good and the bad of humanity. Our hopes and dreams are on the Internet. Our accomplishments and failures are there as well. The Internet is “the people” and should be controlled and owned by “the people”.” continued Mohr. “There are already fights over whose websites should get priority. There are some countries where certain websites are restricted. And this will just get worse unless we do something.” Mohr ended.
As causes go, this one has a plan and it makes sense. You seldom see that in pipe dreams. It might just be worthwhile to see what this is all about. Their website is located at http://www.commhubb.com . Oh, by the way! CommHubb stands for community hubbub i.e. activity and excitement in the community!
