Nutmeg Partners With AAA to Expand Glastonbury Services in Fall 2020
GLASTONBURY, Conn., July 9, 2020 (Newswire.com) - Nutmeg State Financial Credit Union has partnered with AAA to offer additional services at its Glastonbury retail location at 81 House Street. In addition to existing credit union services, the renovated location will offer DMV Express services—license and state ID renewals and replacements, name and address changes, and more—as well as AAA’s portfolio of products and services. By solidifying groundbreaking partnerships with prominent organizations across the state, the credit union continues to be an innovator in both the banking and retail industries.
“A major component of our strategy is establishing retail partnerships and sharing space with businesses,” said John Holt, President and CEO of Nutmeg. “We did this with the Department of Motor Vehicles for our locations in Milford and North Haven and they have been very successful.”
The partnership, which furthers the credit union's existing collaboration with the DMV, has prompted physical and operational changes to the Glastonbury location and has created much excitement among the team.
“At AAA, we are always exploring new opportunities to serve our members and expand services to the broader community," said Karen Christiana, Northeast General Manager AAA Allied Group Retail Operations. "This unique partnership allows us to do just that by providing access to banking, AAA and DMV services all under one roof in the heart of Glastonbury."
“The goal of our retail partnerships is to make it easier for people to access a wide range of products and services,” said Holt. “We want our members to have the convenience of other services at the same places they do their banking. We are all very excited about reshaping our locations and bringing more to our members and the entire community.”
The official launch date for the new product and service offerings at Nutmeg’s Glastonbury location will be announced in the coming weeks. The launch date is targeted for early fall 2020.
