Norfolk Video Production Company, Lambda Films, Open Offices In Cambridge And Essex
Online, January 31, 2012 (Newswire.com) - Three years ago, two young graduates from the University of East Anglia, Norwich, threw caution to the wind and set up Lambda Films, a video production company in Norfolk.
Today, Alex Morris and Ryan Stone, co-founders of Lambda Films, are expanding their business into the nearby counties of Cambridgeshire and Essex.
Despite the financial crisis, Lambda films have managed to buck the trend and grow rapidly over the last four years.
"It's not always been easy," says Director Alex Morris. "But we've always focussed on creating online videos that meet the objectives of our clients - and that's what has helped us grow".
Co-director Ryan Stone adds: "Like many industries, online video has not been affected too badly by the financial crisis. More and more companies are beginning to see video production as a crucial part of their marketing strategy".
Stone adds: "We've always known there are a lot of up and coming companies in Cambridge, especially in Science and R&D, so setting up a video production office in Cambridge was always part of our growth strategy. We're just glad we've been able to implement it so soon"
The move to setting up a video production office in Essex was partly due to the need to be closer to London.
Alex Morris said: "We've been winning more and more clients outside of Norfolk, so the Essex office was a logical next step - we're excited to have a new base closer to London".
With YouTube being the world's second largest search engine, the demand for online videos is on the rise. This is reflected in the growth of video production companies like Lambda Films.
When this is put into context with the recently gloomy figures in the UK of a -0.2 contraction in the economy, it is reassuring to know that not all companies are cutting back.
