Members of Ethisphere's Business Ethics Leadership Alliance Come Together to Share Best Practices and Innovations in Creating Strong Ethical Programs

Attendees Will Highlight Ethics and Compliance Practices that Top Organizations Use to Win the Hearts and Minds of Their Global Workforce

The Ethisphere Institute announced today that members of the Business Ethics Leadership Alliance (BELA), including Honeywell, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Panasonic, BDP International, and Wyndham Worldwide, will meet in a virtual summit to discuss best practices and the latest innovations in global ethics and compliance programs. The summit, which will focus on training and communication practices, will be attended by 500 leaders in the ethics and compliance field.

Ethisphere will partner with EVERFI, a leading education technology companies with investors including Jeff Bezos and Eric Schmidt, to showcase additional insight into trends in ethics and compliance programs. Preston Clark, EVERFI’s President, Corporate Compliance and Higher Education, will also join the program and share insight into current trends.

We're excited to share some of today's leading practices from a diverse range of best-in-class global companies and to have the opportunity to partner with EVERFI, Panasonic, and the broader BELA community.

Stefan Linssen, Chief Content Officer

Hosted by Panasonic and broadcast from its North American headquarters in New Jersey, this event was created in response to frequent requests from the BELA community for information about new and innovative elements of compliance programs.

According to data from Ethisphere’s extensive survey work, training and communication are the largest categories of corporate ethics and compliance investment. Companies rely on training and communication to mitigate risk and inspire global stakeholders, including employees, suppliers, and third parties—and the best companies continually seek adaptive and innovative strategies to meet these goals.

“Compliance and ethics programs are maturing rapidly across the globe, and new technology is constantly developing to help companies ensure that all their employees have an opportunity to engage with and buy into the company’s culture and values,” said Stefan Linssen, Chief Content Officer at Ethisphere. “We’re excited to share some of today’s leading practices from a diverse range of best-in-class global companies and to have the opportunity to partner with EVERFI, Panasonic, and the broader BELA community.”

The topics discussed throughout the conference will include compliance’s next generation impact on companies; innovative ways to maximize and measure return on training, and how to effectively engage with third parties about compliance and ethics.

The conference will be publicly available for all companies interested in learning more about the latest practices and ways to improve their own programs. Compliance and ethics leaders viewing the program will have the opportunity to ask questions and engage with the speakers online. While registration has already closed, a limited number of additional spots are available for in-house ethics and compliance leaders by contacting Sarah Neumann at sarah.neumann@ethisphere.com

Following the live broadcast of the program, recordings of the individual sessions will also be hosted on the BELA resource center and made available to BELA members. More information on BELA can be found at http://bela.ethisphere.com
