The luncheon is an annual fundraiser for the UK/KSU Demonstration Garden and will feature a four-course meal with locally sourced and grown herbs. The menu is a creation of the Master Gardeners together with Midtown Market and local culinary expert Laura Duff.
Local chef Sarah Bradley, owner of the Paducah Freight House, will teach about the featured herbs during the luncheon, and attendees will have the chance to shop for container-grown plants, crafts and gardening supplies following the presentation and meal.
Seating is limited, with less than 70 seats available. The luncheon is open to all community members, but advance registration is required.
Registration is $25 per person, and the fee includes the cost of the meal and a cookbook celebrating the luncheon's five years.
