Malfi López Releases His First Single Enséñame a Olvidarte

A new artist who shines with talent and charisma

For Juan A. Lopez Silverio, better known as Malfi Lopez, music is much more than just the combination of lyrics and chords.  This Latin American youth, who is just 22 years old, expects to go far with his music, and with it, he hopes to make the world a better place.

Malfi Lopez was born in 1992 into a Dominican family with a passion for music.  His uncle was a true fan of bachata music, in addition to listening to bachata all of time, he also composed music and sang accompanied by his guitar.  Malfi grew up in this musical environment, and he affirms that this is what inspired him to create music.  Now he is ready to put together all of this musical background and get out into the world with his lyrics and his songs, to bring back a little of the music that his uncle gave him in the form of reggaeton and urban music.

Even though Malfi Lopez is just starting out in his musical career, which he began only ten months ago, he is a young talent who not only writes his own music, but he can also sing and rap with talent that that comes from his youth, his drive to succeed and his exceptional motivation.

“We live in a world full of violence and constant war.  With my music, I will try to pass on more love to young Latin Americans and to the whole world” – says Malfi, who says he is saddened by the headlines about violence that are in the forefront of our minds on a daily basis.  This is his objective, and he is prepared to release his first single produced by Ediel from New Class Music and d’Element Musical Group.

As is the case with all great singer-songwriters, Malfi Lopez’s songs are based on his own real-life experiences.  The best example of this is Enséñame a olvidarte,” his new song and the first that will be released by GrindHard Entertainment/TMG, inspired by a beautiful girl in his class that managed to leave her mark on him during his time in school.  It was produced by Ediel from New Class Music and D ’Element Music Group, and it was mixed and mastered at Fragment Muzik (NYC).

Even though it is not yet certain if this single will be followed up by a complete studio album, this promising young reggaeton artist has a lot of ambition.  His dream is clear and concise:  in five years he sees himself performing on the world’s biggest stages, right alongside other top singers.

His musical influences are important figures in urban music, like Daddy Yankee, Don Omar, Arcángel Vs Lápiz Consciente and Justin Quiles.  One of his biggest dreams is to compose a song with the great Daddy Yankee and sing it with him in one of the biggest venues of the world.

The single Enséñame a olvidarte comes out on iTunes and other sales outlets on Tuesday, April 12.
