Get behind the wheel of the 32nd Annual Make-A-Wish Car Show with Street Auto Group's Motormouth Video Podcast. "We had the best turn out ever" says Alba Austin, Development Officer of the Make-A-Wish North Texas branch.  "Thousands of people came from all over to help make our kid's dreams come alive."

Held at the Amarillo Civic Center, this year's car show wasn't able to accommodate all the entrants who wanted to participate. "We received an overwhelming amount of support" says Austin. "We were hoping for 300 vehicle entries and we exceeded that by far; Thank you Amarillo, Texas!"

"This show started over thirty years ago with an old school car group; the Panhandle Council of Car Clubs, getting together every Saturday morning to talk about their love of cars. Today, they're helping hundreds of kids be a little happier."

John Luciano, General Manager, Street Volkswagen

The Make-A-Wish Foundation assists children with life-threatening illnesses by making their most special dreams come true. "It can be a real game changer in their life" says Austin.

The Panhandle Council of Car Clubs in Amarillo, Texas helped sponsor this year's event.  Laid Out Kustoms of Amarillo, featured a 1962 Chrysler 300 at the show which will be restored and customized by the donated efforts of assorted automotive, tire, glass, paint and mechanic shops throughout Amarillo.  For a chance to win this custom hot rod, the public is encouraged to participate in a Facebook raffle being sponsored by the Street Auto Group of Amarillo.

"The Make-A-Wish Car Show has been a West Texas Panhandle tradition for decades" says John Luciano, General Manager of Street Volkswagen.  "Street Toyota and Street Volkswagen are proud to help support such a very important cause" says Luciano. "This show started over thirty years ago with an old school car group; the Panhandle Council of Car Clubs, getting together every Saturday morning to talk about their love of cars" says Luciano.  "Today, they're helping hundreds of kids be a little happier."
