First ever KWC Asia Championships concert in Singapore featuring country champions and recording artist Sunny Jackson
Singapore, Singapore, July 29, 2015 (Newswire.com) - KWC Asia Events had the first ever (Karaoke World Championships) KWC Asia Champions Concert on 24 May 2015 held at The Boutique, Orchard Plaza, Singapore.
Following a successful Asia Roadshow concert kicked off in Shanghai, China last April, the Singapore concert featured recording artist Sunny Jackson of Singapore (KWC Asia Ambassador, 2nd Runner-up KWC World), Jhonny Salamat of Indonesia (3rd Runner-up, KWC World), Kenny Ng of Macau (4th runner-up, KWC World), Annie Cheong (KWC Macau Female Champion), Clement Lee (KWC Malaysia Male Champion) and Zareen Angullia (KWC Singapore Female Champion).
The audience at The Boutique, Orchard Road were given a treat of diverse music genre from world-class talents coming from Singapore, Malaysia, Macau and Indonesia.
These young singing stars have bested thousands from their home countries and competed in the Karaoke World Championships (KWC) finals held in Stockholm, Sweden in November 2014.
The KWC Asia Champions concert was made possible with the support of venue sponsor The Boutique, official beer of KWC Draft Beer, DigiMC, Japan’s largest karaoke manufacturer DAM and KWC Singapore official KTV Cash Studio. The KWC Asia Roadshow concert will include key cities in the region including Macau, Manila, KL, Jakarta, Bangkok and Yangon.
KWC is the most prestigious Karaoke Singing event and largest amateur singing competition in the world with over 40 countries participating in 2015. This multi cultural international music event fuses music, fun and friendship. Now on its 13th year, KWC transcends boundaries of race, nation and religion and provides amateur singers an opportunity to showcase their amazing talents to the world. It is a platform to foster camaraderie and goodwill among participating countries. The World finals will be hosted in Singapore to join in the 50th year celebrations of the city-state.
