Luv Shack Moves Locations, Tristan Prettyman Visits
Online, March 10, 2011 (Newswire.com) - The store known to many north county locals as "The Luv Shack" has moved to a new location in Encinitas. It's a Luv Thing closed its Leucadian doors last week, but wanted to stay close to all their local friends in this beautiful coast community. They have chosen a contemporary new home on the east side of 101 in Encinitas just north of Hansen's Surf Shop.
Last week's re-opening party was a huge success, topped off by a surprise visit from Tristan Prettyman. The popular musician tweeted about her purchase, a Luv Thing brand t-shirt, custom designed by store owner Kamie Archinal.
The shirt is just one of 12 shirts from the series, "10 tees to change the world", a line designed by Archinal to spread the inspiration of embracing the divine feminine in each and every woman. In addition, the Luv Thing brand has several other popular items including their best seller, "heart on your sleeve."
"Our new focus is to simplify while still looking for the best trends in the market. As always, we will continue to work with charities large and small to help spread the message that love is the answer," stated Archinal.
It's a Luv Thing is in its sixth year as one of the leading apparel and accessories boutique in coastal San Diego county. The store has become a place filled with inspiration, where women come and tell their stories, and where brands that have substance and meaning can be found. The idea creation behind It's a Luv Thing is a fascinating story, available to read here.
The new store is located at 1053 S. Coast Highway, Encinitas and is open from 11a - 5p everyday.
