Paint the City red and yellow, orange, pink and green at Indian restaurant Cinnamon Kitchen's House of Holi, marking the renowned festival of colour on the 17th March. City workers will loosen their ties, kick off their heels and don protective suits before stepping inside the House of Holi for 30-minutes of paint-pelting each other in a colourful puff of powdered paradise! The paint-throwers party-pod will be popping up between the 11 - 22nd March on 9 Devonshire Square, EC2M4YL for 12 days and is sure to turn the concrete grey landscape into a psychedelic skyline brightening everyone's day.

But of course, no Indian festival would be complete without a feast of delicious Indian food and Cinnamon Kitchen will be getting into the spirit with a vibrant five-course Holi menu. At Ј45 per person enjoy a starter of chargrilled sprouting broccoli with almonds and rose petals or Kentish lamb 'pasanda' with rock moss and allspice. Mains include a lotus stem korma or tandoori king prawns in a coconut and mustard curry, whilst diners can finish with traditional Holi sweets along with a carrot halwa parcel or a slice of coconut and pistachio cake.

Anise, Cinnamon Kitchen's destination cocktail bar in the city, will also be serving an array of colourful Holi cocktails including the Holika Fire - Applejack, fresh lime, homemade grenadine; and the Neela Heera - Broker's Gin, Maraschino Liqueur, Crиme Yvette and fresh lemon.

Announcing the arrival of spring and the passing of winter, Holi is a welcome burst of colour in the midst of London's bleak and blustery winter.

Tickets are just Ј8 per person (Ј15 to include a Holi cocktail and canapйs) with a 50p donation going to social enterprise charity e-Coexist (e-coexist.com), which focuses on empowering women and children in India. Maximum party-size is 20 people and corporate bookings are also available.
